These filaments are also found in the horse [ Tsanakis and Kanakondis, 1972], the dog \Medowar, 1928], the cat [Hirt, 1934], but not in the cow \Frewein, 1962] and the pig [Tsanakis, 1971]. Tsanakis [1971] suggests that in the pig these filaments are too small to be traced with the macroscopical dissection method used.…”
