Contribuição ao conhecimento das interações bioecológicas entre aleirodídeos (Homoptera, Aleyrodidae) e Orthezia praelonga Douglas, 1891 (Homoptera, Ortheziidae) no agroecossistema cítrico

Abstract

Contribution to knowledge of bioecology interactions between"white-flies" (Hornoptera, Aleyrodidae) and Orthez,a proelongaDouglas, 1891 (Homoptera, Ortheziidam) in the citrous environment.Two hundred and forty branches of Citrus sinensis (L.) Osbeck each one with ten leaves, were exarnined, and the percentage of leaves containing the species studied was annotated. The branches were observed since July, 1989 until December, 1990. Applying the t-test, whith n-2 grade of liberty and by 1% of prabability, was fourid a significative correlation (-0,467) between the insects. It was concluded that the 'white-flies' and O. praelongo compete for the actuation space. KEYWORDS: Aleyrodidae; "white fly; Orthezia praelonga. RESUMOForam avaliados 240 ramos com dez folhas cada anotando-se a porcentagem de folhas com a presença das espécies estudadas. Os ramos foram observados desde julho de 1989 até dezembro de 1990. Encontrou-se uma correlação significativa (-0,467) pelo teste 't' com n-2 graus de liberdade, a 1% de probabilidade.Recebido em 23/01/92
