“…It seems important to promote a cultural change in order to destabilise the dominant traditional gender model in Italy and related gender roles stereotypes (Poggio, 2010). To promote equality between men and women and weaken traditional gender-role models, it could be useful to act since the children's early socialisation, for example through the adoption of counter-stereotypes and by raising awareness teachers and parents (Devif et al, 2018;Reeb et al, 2018).
