“…For example, developer-driven projects have tended to be weaker versions of eco-community exemplars (see Nelson, 2018: 190-213) and 'non-committed' versions of communal living that do not 'equip new members with the necessary skills for shared practices and [for] establish[ing] a common ground' (Temesgen 2020: 1). Similarly, municipalities' and states' attempts at mediating collaborative housing introduction within neoliberal urban governance logic through facilitation of market actors have proven challenging and reproduced problematic dynamics (Hagbert, et al 2019). A successful response has seen the emergence of companies such as Baerebo (Denmark), run by those with eco-community experience who seek to channel corporate finance into cohousing but with greater emphasis on enabling necessary social elements and skills.…”

“…Projekty a jednotliví obyvatelé participativního bydlení jsou totiž aktéři ukotvení v síti nutné spolupráce (byť v různé míře intenzity) s jinými institucionálními aktéry (srov.

“…Co-living startups have facilitated their search for a home (Forbes, 2023).There are co-living and co-working spaces which are offering ecofriendly living and working spaces, viz., reuse and recycle, rain water harvesting, digital transactions, solar-powered spaces(Atnest 2023). A modern "process of owning responsibility" of green governance where self-management of daily activities and decision-making is paramount(Hagbert et al, 2019).…”
