Additionally, a second study 16 found that surveyed consumers preferred point-of-care laboratory testing be performed within their physician's office, instead of within their community pharmacy. Our study showed similar results, where 61% of participants were unwilling to visit with their community pharmacist for diabetes-related monitoring and point-of-care testing if they had to pay for the service.…”
