Objective:To evaluate the use of video lessons on the topic of COPD as a training tool for a multidisciplinary team working in the primary health care sector. Methods:This was a quasi-experimental study involving a multidisciplinary team working at a primary health care clinic. The level of knowledge about COPD was measured by applying a specific, 16-item questionnaire - before, immediately after, and three months after the video lessons. In a set of six structured video lessons, the training focused on the prevention, case-finding, treatment, and monitoring of cases of COPD. The data were analyzed with the Friedman test, the Kruskal-Wallis test, Tukey’s post hoc test, Dunnett’s test, and the Bonferroni test. Results:There was a significant difference between the periods before and immediately after the training in terms of the scores on 15 of the 16 items on the questionnaire regarding the level of knowledge about COPD. The median total score of the participants increased significantly, from 60 points before the training to 77 points immediately thereafter and 3 months thereafter (p < 0.001 for both). Before the training, 23 (63.9%) and 13 (36.1%) of the members of the multidisciplinary team presented strong and very strong levels of agreement, respectively, among the 16 questionnaire items. After the training, 100% of the individuals presented a very strong degree of agreement. Conclusions:Multidisciplinary education through video lessons increased the knowledge of COPD on the part of a primary health care team, and the knowledge acquired was retained for at least three months after the intervention.

OBJETIVO: Identificar, na literatura científica, as principais orientações de enfermagem voltadas ao autocuidado de pessoas com insuficiência cardíaca. MATERIAIS E MÉTODO: Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa de literatura utilizando as bases de dados LILACS, MEDLINE, BDENF e a biblioteca virtual SciELO para a busca de publicações indexadas no período de 2009 a 2019, empregando os descritores ‘insuficiência cardíaca’, ‘autocuidado’ e ‘enfermagem’. RESULTADOS: Com os 21 estudos da amostra, elencaram-se as recomendações primordiais voltadas para o autocuidado da insuficiência cardíaca: Adesão farmacológica; Monitorização de sinais, sintomas e peso corporal; Restrição hidrossalina; Atividade física; Hábitos alimentares; Conhecimento da insuficiência cardíaca; Vacinação; Suporte familiar; Consumo do álcool; Cessação do tabagismo; Repouso; Atividade sexual e Atividade laboral. CONCLUSÃO: Pontua-se a correlação direta da prática adequada do autocuidado com a redução significativa em taxas de reinternações e descompensação clínica da condição.

NURSING DIAGNOSIS APPLIED TO PATIENTS WITH DECOMPENSATED HEART FAILUREABSTRACT: The present study aimed to identify the priority nursing diagnoses for patients with decompensated heart failure. Quantitative study conducted in a cardiac emergency service of a university of Pernambuco, between October 2014 and February 2015. The study sample was composed of 62 patients admitted for the treatment of acute decompensated heart failure, emergency inpatients and patients from any functional class. The main nursing diagnoses were Decreased Cardiac Output (87.3%), Activity Intolerance (79.4%) and Ineffective Breathing Pattern (38.1%). The signs and symptoms of decompensation caused by systemic or pulmonary congestion provided the basis for the recognition of defining characteristics that made it possible to formulate priority nursing diagnoses for these patients. Las señales y síntomas de la descompensación, que vienen de la congestión sistémica o pulmonar, fueron utilizadas como base para el reconocimiento de las características determinantes, las cuales posibilitaron la elaboración de los diagnósticos de enfermería prioritarios para eses pacientes.
