Research rarely reaches the discussion of loan sharks. This study describes how intentions are influenced by service, word-of-mouth, and subjective norms, with knowledge of usury acting as a moderating variable. This quantitative study involved 150 respondents. The data collected was analyzed by using structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS 3 Software. According to this study, service significantly affected intention to take a loan from loan sharks but had no influence on word-of-mouth. Though it has no influence on intention, the subjective norm has a significant influence on word-of-mouth. The service on the intention is mediated by word of mouth, which has an influence on the intention. However, word-of-mouth does not act as a mediating variable between subjective norms and intentions. The intention to use the services of loan sharks is significantly moderated by knowledge about usury, which also significantly moderates word-of-mouth and subjective norms. It did not, however, moderate the influence of service on intentions. As a result, it is recommended that the government create Islamic financial institutions not only for the middle class and upper class but also for the lower economic class, which is vulnerable to loan sharks.

This study aims to describe the process of validity of critical thinking skills on prospective mathematics teachers. This research used a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data were collected from 245 prospective mathematics teachers from 19 Mathematics education study programs at 19 higher education institutions in Indonesia. The data were collected using a questionnaire given via Google Form and analyzed by the Rasch Model analysis using Winstep software and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) using JASP. The results show that the instrument of critical thinking skills with indicators such as open-mindedness, inquisitiveness, systematicity, truth-seeking, analyticity, and self-confidence is valid and reliable, although it has to consider eliminating items and person misfit.

This paper seeks to examine Education, ICT, Teleconferencing, Networking And E-Learning with a specific focus on of Zimbabwe. The paper was based on qualitative research techniques. Challenges faced by women in their business in Zimbabwe were closure of business, exposure to rape, violence and robbery, financial losses, drop in their revenue, reduced remittances, reduced demand of goods and services, obstacles in logistics and shipping of products, challenges of acquiring raw materials, reduced worker productivity as well as technological challenges in the form of (limited e-banking and teleconferencing opportunities, huge data costs and lack of required technology. In terms of the effects of e-learning to women and girls in accessing education in Zimbabwe it was realised that, girls and women enjoyed benefits such as to exposure to online learning, reduced walking distances, exposure to educational opportunities such as scholarships. However, there were also adverse effects and these were limited access to online learning, lack of smartphones, lack of data, non- inclusive education, reduced long distance – learning via WhatsApp exposure to uncensored online material which exposed girls to online sexual predators. Policy recommendation wise, it was suggested that there is need for increased government funding towards ICT at all levels as well as prioritisation of all marginalised women.
