However, a high ventilation rate may not always solve the problem with sick building syndrome [22], which is why the acute transient decrease in pulmonary function on the 2 winter occasions therefore is suggested to depend on the ventilation system being in an operating mode. This is further supported by the findings that the studied group had less complaints and no pulmonary function impediment during a working week when the ventilation system was shut off on the study occasion 2 months after measurement 1.…”
