Conducting a Surgical Site Infection Prevention Tracer

Abstract: Surgical site infections (SSIs) are the most common health care-associated infections in patients. Approximately half of SSIs are preventable when using evidence-based strategies; however, deviations from evidence-based practice can occur over time.
