In the last decade, the problem of using smartphones in education has become one of the most relevant topics of scientific discussion. As in the discussion of any other problem, it also identified both expressed supporters and equally serious opponents of the use of the gadgets in question in the educational process. Within the framework of this work, we present materials that reflect the expectations and concerns of teachers, doctors and other representatives of modern society on the topic we have identified. In different countries of the world, the pedagogical and hygienic significance and the impact of smartphones on the health and success of students’ educational activities are evaluated in absolutely different ways. At the same time, the events of the past – 2020 have identified the need to use smartphones, often almost as an alternative and forced measure.

The paper presents an analysis of the environmental motivation of the personality of young students as a factor in social health. The results of the study showed that young men, in interaction with nature, take an active life position aimed at the formation of bio-spheric values. The passive ecological motivation and attitude of girls is aimed at aesthetic contemplation of nature, but their ethical attitude towards harmony with nature ensures social well-being, and hence the social health of society. The positive development of bio-spheric values as a factor of social health depends on the rational, pragmatic ecological motivation and attitude of young men, as well as the ethical attitude of girls towards interacting with nature.

Educational actions in their totality form an educational process, and each educational action represents the influence of the teacher on the child's personality in order to form value orientations and personality qualities, change the style of his attitude to himself and others, behaviour and beliefs. Feedback that always accompanies pedagogical interaction informs the teacher about the nature of changes in the student under the influence of communication with him in various activities and, in addition, allows the teacher to change the nature of communication with the child, to correctly build their interaction with him. Despite the fact that there is already a large set of means of developing communication skills, the problem of developing means of developing communication skills, means of improving the effectiveness of pedagogical interaction between a teacher and children remains very relevant. The purpose of the study is to develop ways to optimize the interaction of a teacher with children in primary schools.
