Comprehensive Analysis of Acetylation-Related lncRNAs and Identified AC099850.3 as Prognostic Biomarker in Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

Abstract: The present study aimed to analyze the effects of acetylation-related lncRNAs in non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC). A total of 399 differentially expressed lncRNAs (DElncRNAs) have been identified between 497 NSCLC tissues and 54 normal tissues in the TCGA database, and 105 of which were correlated with acetylation regulators. By using univariate cox regression analysis and combining it with clinical prognosis information, 12 prognostic-related lncRNAs were selected for the subsequent analysis. The NSCLC pati… Show more

“…We conducted univariate, LASSO, and multivariate Cox regression analyses and identified seven NRlncRNAs (AC026355.2, AC099850.3, AF131215.5, UST-AS2, ARHGAP26-AS1, FAM83A-AS1, and AC010999.2) significantly linked to the OS of LUAD patients to construct the necroptosis-related lncRNA signature. Among those lncRNAs, AC099850.3 has been reported to be highly expressed in tumors and closely related to the development and procession of NSCLC ( Zhou et al, 2021 ); AC099850.3 is demonstrated to promote proliferation and migration in hepatocellular carcinoma and is also an important member of the prognosis model in hepatocellular carcinoma and colorectal cancer ( Wu et al, 2021 ; Zhang et al, 2021 ). AF131215.5 also represented the independent prognostic significance of OS in patients with LUAD ( Hou and Yao, 2021 ).…”

“…Recently, several studies also pointed out that the five identified lncRNAs were related to cancers. AC099850.3 was newly found to influence the acetylation level in non-small cell lung cancer (38). Also, it was closely associated with decreased survival of patients 0diagnosed with tongue cancer (39).…”

“… 28 Besides, this lncRNA is also considered a prognostic biomarker in non‐small‐cell lung cancer and colorectal cancer patients. 29 , 30 Moreover, as shown in the Sankey diagram, several lncRNA‐related genes were considered to act important roles in tumor biological processes. For instance, BCL2 was determined to be a radiotherapy outcome biomarker in HNSCC and a hot point of PD‐1 immunotherapy.…”
