The aim of this paper is to provide an overview of the interrelationship between data science and climate studies, as well as describes how sustainability climate issues can be managed using the Big Data tools. Climate-related Big Data articles are analyzed and categorized, which revealed the increasing number of applications of data-driven solutions in specific areas, however, broad integrative analyses are gaining less of a focus. Our major objective is to highlight the potential in the System of Systems (SoS) theorem, as the synergies between diverse disciplines and research ideas must be explored to gain a comprehensive overview of the issue. Data and systems science enables a large amount of heterogeneous data to be integrated and simulation models developed, while considering socio-environmental interrelations in parallel. The improved knowledge integration offered by the System of Systems thinking or climate computing has been demonstrated by analysing the possible inter-linkages of the latest Big Data application papers. The analysis highlights how data and models focusing on the specific areas of sustainability can be bridged to study the complex problems of climate change.

A Scoping Review of the Digital Transformation Literature Using Scientometric Analysis

Digital transformation is the rapidly expanding research field dealing with the increased impact of digital technologies on both business and society. Due to the large number of papers and the semantic ambiguity surrounding the terminology, covering such a broad topic is difficult. To help researchers gain a better understanding of the knowledge structure of the research field, we conduct a scoping review using scientometrics. We searched for publications dealing with digital transformation on both Scopus and Web of Science. We downloaded their bibliometric data and thoroughly merged and cleaned it using lemmatization and stemmatization. This dataset was analyzed using VOSviewer to create co-author networks and co-word occurrence graphs of the titles, abstracts, and keywords. We also visualized the growth of the research field and retrieved the top conferences and journals based on the number of papers and the number of citations. K-means clustering was performed on the abstracts and keywords to find similar research focuses. These findings highlight the broad scope of the research field, the ambiguity of the terminology, the lack of collaboration, and the absence of research into the impact of digital transformation on society. Moving forward, more research needs to be done to establish the boundaries of digital transformation and to investigate the importance of society in this phenomenon.

Bioaerosols are airborne particles of biological origin. In recent years, exposure to bioaerosols has caused significant public health concerns. This study aimed to provide a bibliometric analysis on global research trends of airborne microorganisms in recent ten years (2011-2020). Base on the web of Science (WoS) database, a total of 1087 papers in recent ten years are selected for analysis. Firstly, by analyzing the co-citation, 11 clusters were obtained, including potential pan microbiome, bioaerosol Science, beneficial microbe, urban area, Fungal microbiota, wastewater treatment plant, airborne microbial aerosol, modern practice, composting facilities-a review, airborne microbial biodiversity, and acidic electrolyzed water. Secondly, through the co-occurrence analysis of the keywords in the literature, it was proposed that particle-attached microorganisms, the community structure of urban air microbes, and biological aerosols are the research hotspots in recent years. This suggested that bioaerosol is a hotspot and current trend in the field of airborne microbiology, and the most studied airborne microorganisms are bacteria. In addition, we have also studied COVID-19 in particular, and found that the attention of COVID-19 has continued to rise in the past eight months, and the number of articles on the topic of COVID-19 has reached more than 19880 in the past eight months. Among them, 106 were highly cited. The co-occurrence analysis of COVID-19 was carried out with 500 articles published recently. Besides COVID-19, pandemics and coronavirus, the co-occurrence frequency of anxiety, depression and stress was high. Moreover, according to the number of published papers in this field,
