Comparison of vegetarian versus animal-based low protein diets on estimated glomerular filtration rates in chronic kidney disease patients: a systematic review protocol

Abstract: The objective of this review is to evaluate studies to determine the effect of a low-protein, vegetarian diet as compared to a low-protein, animal-based diet on estimated glomerular filtration rates (eGFR) in adults with chronic kidney disease (CKD).
