Comparison of the Interrupted and Continuous Suture Techniques for the Closure of Oral and Nasal Mucosal Layers in Cleft Palate Surgery

Abstract: BackgroundCleft lip and palate are common congenital craniofacial anomalies, treated conventionally by surgery at the ages of six to 18 months. Mostly, the interrupted suture technique is used to close the nasal and oral layers of the palate.
