Dense nanostructured Ti was sintered from mechanically activated Ti and TiH 2 powders by pulsed-current activated heating under a pressure of 80 Mpa. TiH 2 powder was decomposed to Ti during sintering. The hardness of the Ti increased, and the average grain size of the Ti decreased, with increasing milling time.
