Abstract:Gestational Diabetes Mellitus is a metabolic disorder during pregnancy. It is defined by WHO as carbohy-drate intolerance resulting in hyperglycemia of variable severity with onset or first recognition during preg-nancy. The entity usually present late in second and third trimester.
