“…Recently, several additives, including nanoparticles, and bio diesels were used in the fuels to increase the thrust and also to decrease the emission of pollutants in atmosphere (Wang et al , 2019). Recently, hydrogen and vegetable oil have been considered as a sustainable replacement for conventional fuels with minimum alteration of existing engine although direct application of these fuels increases the nitrous oxide emission levels and reduces the life of turbine engine (Booma Devi et al , 2020; Manigandan et al , 2020a). To eliminate those issues, transesterification process is used to isolate glycerin from the vegetable oil.…”

“…Generally, aviation fuel includes aviation gasoline for spark ignition piston-pro engines and jet fuel for gas turbine engines (Altuntas et al, 2013;Yildirim et al, 2017;Manigandan et al, 2020aManigandan et al, , 2020bManigandan et al, , 2020c. Due to the scarce petroleum resources, deteriorating global environment and energy issues, the development and application of aviation alternative fuels have attracted attention from people in the aviation industry.…”

“…The research is been carried out recently without making many modifications in the existing engines by adding natural-based vegetable oils and hydrogen as additives (Wang et al, 2019;Riebl et al, 2016). Due to the sustainability of the engines, the vegetable-based natural biofuels are not added directly to the engines because of the poor combustion rate of the fuel as well as its higher emission rate of NOx (Manigandan et al, 2020c). To avoid the poor combustion rate, as well as NOx emission from the vegetable oils, these biofuels are blend with the Glycerine with different ratios using the transesterification process.…”
