The infrared absorption peaks are similar to the submission of (Kamal et al, 2017), whom identified absorption bands related to pure bitumen to include 2922 cm −1 (υasCH2 CH3), 2862 cm −1 (υsCH2 CH3), 1601 cm -1 (υ C=C), 1455 cm −1 , 1376 cm −1 , 1031 cm −1 (υ SO2), 868 cm −1 ,813 cm −1 (C=C), 747 cm −1 , and 722 cm −1 ).
