A difference between patients treated hormonally and untreated patients was also found in patients with bone métastasés despite a sim ilar metastatic burden [11], The only other study where the tumour volume was accurately measured was done by Csapo et al [16], who found that mice under hormonal deprivation had 5 times lower PSA levels compared with controls although their tumour volumes were twice as large as those of the controls.
