“…Similarly, in a trial conducted by Smith et al, patients had a twice-weekly application of 45% H 2 O 2 , and statistically significant target wart clearance was achieved in 37.3% out of 76 patients in eight weeks [11]. A study by Kaur et al, in which 40% H 2 O 2 was applied in three sessions at two weeks intervals, revealed a more than 75% reduction in wart size in 30% of twenty patients with genital warts, similarly to our study [5]. TCA has been a time-tested modality for the treatment of warts.…”

“…50% H 2 O 2 stands ahead of 100% TCA and 5-FU, with a 65% significant improvement vs. 55% (100% TCA) and 40% (5-FU). Meanwhile, the 80% TCA group had a 70% improvement when compared to 40% H 2 O 2 ( 63% improvement) according to Kaur et al [5]. 50% H 2 O 2 treated patients (group A) had less discomfort and minimal side effects.…”

“…A research by Mahran et al, [15] showed that the number and size of warts may be utilized as a predictive indicator to predict treatment response. Kaur et al, [11] showed that, about 30% of the patients in both the groups reported Grade 4 improvement (> 75% reduction in size), 35% versus 25% patients had Grade 3 improvement, 25% versus 20% patients had Grade 2 improvement, and 0 versus 20% had Grade 1 improvement in hydrogen peroxide group versus TCA group, respectively.…”

“…In agreement Kaur et al, [11] sought to assess and contrast the treatment effectiveness and safety of a solution of 40% hydrogen peroxide and a solution of 80% TCA for genital warts. Forty patients of more than 18 years of age with clinically diagnosed genital warts were divided into two groups of 20 each, all the 40 patients completed the study, about 42% of the patients were females and 68% were males.…”
