Comparative Approach to the Study of Scientific and Technological Discourse (On the Basis of Russian and English Scientific-Technical Articles Composition and Their Genre Peculiarities)

Abstract

The determination of the language of science as a separate functional style that is finely tuned to the scientific text genre peculiarities (linguistic stylistic differentiation), data transmittal form (oral or written), primariness or sencondariness of information nature and some other factors is a topical issue of current linguistics and such its branches as comparative analysis of scientific discourse functioning in different languages.
