Combined Therapy of COVID-19 Infection Consequences

Abstract

Objective of the Review: To present clinical characteristics, pathogenic mechanisms and therapies of Long COVID-19. Key Points. Long COVID-19 is a set of chronic symptoms, which can be recorded in patients after acute COVID-19. These conditions are characterised by various types and combinations of clinical symptoms during various periods of time. Usually, there are two groups of symptoms: pulmonary symptoms and a set of symptoms similar to chronic fatigue syndrome. Balanced combined therapies of Long COVID-19 are discussed. Conclusion. Complex symptoms of Long COVID-19 require specific therapy; primary medications should be selected depending on their effect on primary/target symptoms (pulmonary, intolerance to exertion, cognitive disorders, etc.).
