Cold Extrusion Forming of Copper/Aluminum Clad Composite

Abstract: The cold extrusion forming of copper/aluminum clad composite based on the low pressure casting billet is presented in this paper. The technology was studied by using the experimental investigation and the finite element method. The drop-in phenomenon occurred in aluminum during the extrusion forming process.
