The internet is transforming society on a global level, especially due to the increasing popularity of social media services such as Twitter, Facebook and YouTube. Because cloud computing characteristics have tangible effects on enterprises and economics growth globally, it is necessary to create an understanding of cloud computing’s cross-border nature and the effects of and such paradigm for social media artists located in Ecuador. Therefore, this paper seeks the following objectives: firstly, to establish how Ecuadorian artists can be bound by extraterritorial copyright laws by posting their works in YouTube or Twitter. Secondly, to define the benefits and drawbacks of the relation of Ecuadorian artists with YouTube and Twitter. Lastly, this article shows how U.S. copyright laws bind Ecuadorian users of YouTube and Twitter transnationally.

Cloud computing technology has been studied in the context of industry 4.0 as a tool applied to manufacturing services and resources. Such concept is widely known as Cloud Manufacturing. This paper aims at mapping the current state of academic researches on this field, promoting the understanding of trends, references and practical applications in real-life conditions. A bibliometric analysis was conducted using two different databases -Scopus and Web of Sciences -and VOSviewer's text mining tools and techniques. From a sample of 1,420 papers, this study identified the countries which had the largest volume of publications, the main journals related to the subject, the most influent articles, and four clusters by keywords occurrences: (i) "Optimization of manufacturing processes", (ii) "Collaborative networks of manufacturing resources and services", (iii) "Industry 4.0 and cloud computing systems", and (iv) "Data reliability and cyber-security". Finally, this work selected and analyzed the 159 articles with applied case studies, in order to stratify and to understand the most common approaches within the four pre-established categories. This article can contribute to researchers and developers searching for successful practical applications in digitalization of manufacturing chains, as well as to those who are looking for gaps in the still unexplored fields of Cloud Manufacturing. Both the assessment and the categorization of the case studies about Cloud Manufacturing is a differential in this article.

Cloud computing has emerged as a cutting-edge technology which is widely used by both private and public institutions, since it eliminates the capital expense of buying, maintaining, and setting up both hardware and software. Clients pay for the services they use, under the so-called Service Level Agreements (SLAs), which are the contracts that establish the terms and costs of the services. In this paper, we propose the CloudCost UML profile, which allows the modeling of cloud architectures and the users’ behavior when they interact with the cloud to request resources. We then investigate how to increase the profits of cloud infrastructures by using price schemes. For this purpose, we distinguish between two types of users in the SLAs: regular and high-priority users. Regular users do not require a continuous service, so they can wait to be attended to. In contrast, high-priority users require a constant and immediate service, so they pay a greater price for their services. In addition, a computer-aided design tool, called MSCC (Modeling SLAs Cost Cloud), has been implemented to support the CloudCost profile, which enables the creation of specific cloud scenarios, as well as their edition and validation. Finally, we present a complete case study to illustrate the applicability of the CloudCost profile, thus making it possible to draw conclusions about how to increase the profits of the cloud infrastructures studied by adjusting the different cloud parameters and the resource configuration.
