We analyse the CP asymmetry of the B → φK S process in general supersymmetric models. In the framework of the mass insertion approximation, we derive model independent limits for the mixing CP asymmetry. We show that chromomagnetic type of operator may play an important role in accounting for the deviation of the mixing CP asymmetry between B → φK S and B → J/ψK S processes observed by Belle and BaBar experiments. A possible correlation between the direct and mixing CP asymmetry is also discussed. Finally, we apply our result in minimal supergravity model and supersymmetric models with non-universal soft terms.

Glucoamylase, industrially derived from Aspergillus niger, was chromatographically separated into forms I and II and purified to near homogeneity. Preparations were proved to be free of D-glucosyltransferase by electrophoretic and differential inhibition tests. Maximum rates and Michaelis constants were obtained for both glucoamylases I and II with maltooligosaccharides from maltose to maltoheptaose and with isomaltooligosaccharides from isomaltose to isomaltohexaose. Subsite maps were calculated from these kinetic data and were not significantly different for the two forms. Subsites in both forms had lower affinities for D-glucosyl residues contained in isomaltooligosaccharides than for D-glucosyl residues in maltooligosaccharides.

Biocompatible single‐component theranostic nanoagents instinctly affording multiple imaging modalities with satisfying therapeutic functions are highly desirable for anticancer treatments. Although cobalt‐based phosphides are well‐recognized as competent electrocatalysts, their potentials for biomedical applications remain unexplored. In this work, cobalt phosphide nanoparticles (CoP NPs) are developed to be a powerful theranostic agent for multimodal imaging and anticancer photothermal therapy. The uniform CoP NPs in a size of ≈21 nm are synthesized via a facile thermal decomposition method, followed by surface modification. The resultant CoP NPs exhibit excellent compatibility and stability in water as well as various physiological solutions. Supported by the good biocompatibility, strong near‐infrared absorption, and high photothermal conversion property, significant photothermal effect of the NPs is demonstrated, realizing efficient hyperthermia ablation on cancer cells. Importantly, the CoP NPs have shown considerable capabilities on high‐contrast in vitro and in vivo triple‐modal imaging, including infrared thermal (IRT), photoacoustic (PA), and T2‐weighted magnetic resonance (MR) imaging. This work has unraveled the promising potentials of CoP‐based nanoagent for precise diagnosis and efficient therapy.
