Abstract: Background The inSighT study was designed to determine the prevalence of ischemic changes as recorded by implantable cardioverter–defibrillator (ICD) ST deviations in intracardiac electrocardiograms (EGM) over the 24 h preceding malignant ventricular arrhythmias (VT/VF).
