Clinical outcomes after carbon-plate osteosynthesis in patients with distal radius fractures

Abstract: Background Surgical implant material has changed over time, from metal to stainless steel to titanium. In recent decades a new material, carbon-fibre-reinforced polyether ether ketone, has been introduced.
