Contemporary culture has disturbed the local community's culture, which has been maintained since the time of the ancestors. The Tanimbar culture has been preserved and maintained. Tifa Tanimbar is a small musical instrument used for arts and cultural performances of the community. It is one of the heritage and wealth of an area different from other regions. This study shows something different, namely Tifa, in learning physics. This study aimed to analyze the conceptual physics of students based on ethnoscience on the Tifa concept in the Tanimbar Islands. The research was conducted in 10 elementary schools in the Tanimbar Islands Regency with 300 students with 175 male students and 125 female students. The questions given to test students' conceptual tests were physics diagnostic tests, totaling 6 questions. The study results informed that the average conceptual physics of students related to Tifa was 55.42. It indicates that the conceptual physics of elementary school students is still very weak with a good category. Therefore, there is a solution to develop ethnophysics-based teaching materials with orientation to local potentials affiliated with science in improving students' conceptual physics. This research implies that teachers can develop teaching materials that foster students' cognition with surrounding phenomena based on local culture

Pancasila Education : Jargon for its Improvement New Order Government

This study analyses how the beginning period of New Order performed its duties in liner with a vision of development that upheld Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution. In his speech in 1969 before the member of Temporary People's Consultative Assembly, Presiden Soeharto declared education development as one of major priority in Indonesia's First Five-Year Development Plan (Repelita I). However, after the representative of People's Consultative Assembly elected in General Election 1971, it was declared that the objective of national development was to shape a true Pancasilaist to change the deep influence of Manipol/Usdek doctrine. To meet this objective in education development, some innovation are made: curriculum of school pilot project (PPSP) and school pamong system. Both policies failed to progress because it were too costly. Malari Incident and Bandung Student protest in 1974 prompted the government to issue policy that emphasis Pancasila Education for all levels of school to encourage nationalism that was assumed low among young generation. In this purpose, the government provide Pendidikan Sejarah Perjuangan Bangsa (PSPB) and Pedoman Penghayatan and Pengamalan Pancasila (P4) for student in all level of education in Indonesia. this study discusses how pancasila became the slogan for the New Order government. this study uses historical methods with heuristic steps, criticism, interpretation and historiography. The writing of this study uses the structural approach of an Giddens. The results of this study conclude that the New Order government became repressive of the demonstration that was done initially by the Bandung students before the Japanese Prime Minister's arrival to cause Malari incident (January 15, 1974) and continued until early 1986. The government then responded by requiring Pancasila Education which consisting of PMP, P4 and PSPB included in the basic education curriculum up to college.

Bu araştırmanın amacı, üstün zekalı ortaöğretim öğrencilerinin rekreasyonel farkındalık düzeylerinin incelenmesidir. Bu amaçla araştırmaya bilim ve sanat merkezinde eğitim ve öğretim 42 kız (%54,5) ve 35 erkek (45,5) öğrenci olmak üzere toplam 77 öğrenci gönüllü olarak katılım göstermiştir. Örneklem grubu, olasılıksız olan örnekleme yöntemlerinden kolayda örnekleme yöntemi ile seçilmiştir. Verilerin toplanmasında Ekinci ve Özdilek (2019) tarafından geliştirilmiş olan Rekreasyon Farkındalık ölçeği ve 7 soruluk demografik bilgi formu kullanılmıştır. Veriler SPSS 25.0 paket programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Verilerin normal dağılım koşullarına uygunlukları Kolmogorov-Smirnov Testi ile analiz edilmiştir. Veriler normal dağılım göstermediği için parametrik olmayan testlerle analizler yapılmıştır. Tanımlayıcı istatiksel hesaplamalar (frekans, yüzde, ortalama, standart sapma) yapıldıktan sonra, bağımsız değişkenlerde karşılaştırma yapılırken iki parametre olanlarda Mann Whitney U, üç ve daha fazla parametre olanlarda Kruskal Wallis H testi uygulanmıştır. Anlamlılık düzeyi 0,05 olarak kabul edilmiştir. Boş zamanlarını verimli değerlendirme değişkeninde boş zamanlarını verimli bir biçimde değerlendirdiğini düşünen öğrenciler lehine bütün alt boyutlarda ve ölçek bütününe; okul süresi dışı sorumluluklar için ayrılan günlük süre değişkeninde sosyal başarı alt boyutu ile ölçek bütününe daha fazla süre ayıranlar lehine istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmuştur (p
