CITYBIT: CityGML Building Interpolation Tool for Energy Performance Simulations

Abstract: This paper describes a CityGML Building Interpolation tool (CityBIT) for the creation of userdefined and interpolated building models for planned and/or existing buildings. A brief explanation of the tool's functionalities and the methodologies adapted to develop the tool are explained in this paper. The CityBIT aims to help urban planners and simulation scientists to facilitate CityGML model developments for energy performance simulations.
