Abstract

Various chromatographic techniques are outlined which provide simple, rapid, and precise methods for the determination of many thermodynamic and kinetic parameters of great interest to the physical chemist. The paper emphasises the need to pay attention to particular experimental details and to understand the way in which most chromatographic experiments have been influenced by the desire to solve purely analytical problems.
