Moreover, studies reported effects related to anti-insulin resistance and obesity [25], and protection against plant pathogenic fungi [26], as well as antimicrobial effects [27], inhibition of bile-duct ligation-induced liver injury [28], and attenuation of lipopolysaccharide-induced acute kidney injury [29].
