Chitosan-based core–shell structured particles for in vivo sustainable gene transfection

Abstract: pEGFP-loaded thiolated and N-alkylated chitosan particles coated by a PEGylated hydroxybutyl chitosan shell show a good sustainable gene transfection effect.
