“…A meta-analysis showed that smoking was associated with AF with a summary relative risk (RR) = 1.14 (95%CI = 1.10-1.20) per 10 cigarettes per day, and RR = 1.16 (95%CI = 1.09-1.25) per 10 pack-years [ 52 ].
