Abstract: Prenyloxycoumarins and prenyloxyfuranocoumarins (isopentenyloxy-, geranyloxy-, linear and cyclic sesquiterpenyloxy compounds and their biosynthetic derivatives) represent a family of secondary metabolites that have been considered for years just as intermediates of other coumarin-based compounds.
