Abstract

Synthesis of Zeolite EMT with Aid of Sodium Phosphate.Pure hexagonal faujasite EMT zeolite with high crystallinity is synthesized in the presence of Na 3 PO 4 ·12H 2 O at a low 18-crown-6/Al 2 O 3 ratio (0.33) in a short crystallization time of 6 days (autoclave, 100 • C). The samples are characterized by SEM and powder XRD. The crystal size is 3-5 µm. The optimal range of the ratio Na 3 PO 4 /Al 2 O 3 with respect to the crystallization time is from 0.05 to 0.03.
