Abstract:Synthesis of Novel Monocyclic Squalestatin Analogues as PotentialInhibitors of Squalene Synthase. -The synthesis of the two 1,3-dioxane tricarboxylic acid analogues (VI) and (VII) of natural squalestatin (VIII) is described as shown for (VI) .
