ChemInform Abstract: Synthesis and Molecular and Crystal Structure of a New Tricyclic B3N4S2Si2 System.

Abstract: 235ChemInform Abstract The difunctional disilyl derivative (I) reacts with the diaminoborane(II) to give the tricyclic title system (III). A stabilizing, coordinative interaction between sulfur and boron is presumably the reason forthe unexpected formation of this compound. The structure of (III) is established by X-ray crystallography (space group P212121, Z=4) and 1H, 13C, 14N, and 29Si NMR spectroscopy.
