carboxylic acid esterscarboxylic acid esters (benzene compounds) Q 0530 -119Syntheses and Characterization of Diphenyl and Dicyclohexyl 4,4'-Bibenzyldicarboxylates.-The title compounds (IV) and (VII) are synthesized in a one-pot procedure from bibenzyl (I) by conversion into the bis-acid chlorides followed by treatment with the alcohols (III) and (VI) respectively.
