Abstract: Die aus den Bromacetylglyoxylsäureester‐arylhydrazonen (I) mit einem Überschuß von Dimethylsulfid (II) bei 20°C dargestellten Sulfoniumbromide (III) gehen unter der Einwirkung von Triäthylamin in Tetrahydrofuran bei 0‐2°C praktisch quantitativ in die Pyrazole (IV) über.
