Abstract: Bei der Bromierung von 3,6‐Di‐tert.‐butyl‐brenzcatechin (I) in aprotischen Lösungsmitteln wie Tetrachlorkohlenstoff mit äquimolaren Mengen Brom erhält man 3,4‐Dibrom‐ 6‐tert.‐butyl‐brenzcatechin (II) mit 40%iger Ausbeute, mit 2 oder 3 Mol Brom beträgt die Ausbeute 87% bzw. 88%.
