ChemInform Abstract: Evaluation of Antiinflammatory, Antinociceptive, and Antiulcerogenic Activities of Novel Synthesized Thiazolyl and Pyrrolyl Steroids.

Abstract

This straightforward protocol provides access to modified steroids containing fused pyrrole or thiazole nuclei in addition to the pharmacophoric features of the steroid moiety. Dihydrothiazolyl-hydrazonoprogesterone (IIIb) and aminopyrrolylprogesterone (VIa) display anti-inflammatory, anti-nociceptive, and anti-ulcerogenic activity with various intensities.
