ChemInform Abstract: COMPLEXES OF METAL DITHIONATE WITH BENZOYLHYDRAZINE

“…The research has been mainly focused on the copper(II) [6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14] and nickel(II) [6,7,11,14] complexes. Only two communications have taken into account the 4hbah complexes with dithionate cobalt salts [7,14].…”

Only two communications have taken into account the 4hbah complexes with dithionate cobalt salts [7,14]. Based on the infrared spectroscopic measurements, the authors have proposed the general formula of the complexes (MeL n S 2 O 6 ÁmH 2 O where n = 2, 3; m = 0, 1, 2; L -various benzhydrazides) and coordination mode through the N-amino and O-carbonyl atoms without any deeper consideration of the cobalt coordination environment, which frequently is completed by the solvent molecules.…”

“…In already published articles [6][7][8], some chelate complexes with different d-electron metal ions were reported. Their structures were mostly proposed on the basis of elemental analyses, pH-metrical, and selected spectroscopic studies.…”
