Abstract: Die Bromierung des Butanolids (II) in Gegenwart von PBr3 liefert bei 120 bis 125°C ein cis‐trans‐Gemisch (25 : 75) der Monobromide (I) (80% Gesamtausbeute) und bei 190‐200°C mit der doppelten Menge Brom das Dibromid (III) (40%).
