Abstract:A Convenient Synthesis of Nanocrystalline Chalcopyrite, CuFeS 2 Using Single--Source Precursors. -Nanocrystalline CuFeS2 is successfully synthesized from the single-source precursors (III) and (V) by pyrolysis and solvothermal (ethylene glycol) decomposition methods. The samples are characterized by powder XRD, UV/VIS spectroscopy, TEM, and magnetic measurements.
