Abstract: Cycloheptatrien (I) reagiert mit den Acrylsäure‐ bzw. Methacrylsäureestern (II) f in Gegenwart des Katalysators (IV) in Xylol (Ölbad‐Temperatur 160°C) zu nichttrennbaren Stellungsisomerengemischen (C‐1 , C‐2, C‐3 , C‐7) der Carbonsäureester (III) (55‐57% Ausbeute).
