Experimental detailsThe Hatoms bonded to Catoms were positioned geometrically in the riding-model approximation, with d(C-H) =0 .97 Å and U iso (H) =1.2 U eq (C).
DiscussionIn the development of coordination chemistry, the studies of chemical properties of transition metal complexes including coordinating carboxylate ligands is acontinuously interesting subject. Polycarboxylic acids and polycarboxylate ligands are used as linking agents of solid aggregates. The existence of two or more carboxylate groups in different orientations allows the construction of one-, two-or three-dimensional frameworks, which can be further reinforced by the presence of intermolecular hydrogen bonds, p-p interactions and other weak interacting forces [1][2][3][4][5]. One example of an acid that contains two carboxylic groups is H 2 edtda. Besides the two carboxylic, it also has two thio groups.
