Check-List Das Poaceae Do Estado De Mato Grosso Do Sul, Brasil

Abstract

RESUMO-A presente lista preliminar engloba a família Poaceae, como atividade inicial do projeto Biota-MS. Foram consultados os herbários do Mato Grosso do Sul e de instituições de fora do estado com acervos relevantes para o conhecimento da fl ora estadual, bem como exemplares individuais de outros herbários, diretamente ou através de fotografi as com alta resolução, disponíveis em bases de dados, e ainda bibliografi a sobre a família. O total de espécies confi rmadas para o estado, enquadradas em 108 gêneros, alcança 430, sendo 57 introduzidas e 19 endêmicas do Brasil. Os gêneros com maior número de espécies são Paspalum L. (73 espécies), Eragrostis Wolf (26), Panicum L. (22), Digitaria Haller (19) e Axonopus P. Beauv. (18), que englobam 36% (158) das espécies confi rmadas. A ocorrência das espécies também é referida aos ambientes típicos de Cerrado (350), Chaco (120), Mata Atlântica (174) e Pantanal (284).
