“…Besides that, a strong absorption band at 1723.04 cm −1 , 1720.78 cm −1, and 1725.04 cm −1 of MIP (MAA), MIP (AAm), and MIP (2VP) interpreted the presence of C=O stretching vibrations, [41,42] which confirmed the successful incorporation of the carbonyl group from EGDMA cross‐linker in the MIPs structure. This peak intensity varied among different MIPs, suggesting the usage of different functional monomers such as MAA, AAm, and 2VP.…”

“…The peaks at 1056.75 cm −1 and 1055.09 cm −1 correspond to the C−N stretching vibration of the 2VP functional monomer in both MIP (2VP) and NIP (2VP), respectively. MIP (2VP) and NIP (2VP) had weak peaks at 950.55 cm −1 and 950.17 cm −1 , respectively, indicating the presence of =C−H bending vibration of the vinyl group [42] in 2VP functional monomer and EGDMA cross‐linker. Additionally, MIP (2VP) had a medium peak at 881.06 cm −1 while NIP (2VP) had a peak at 877.81 cm −1 which revealed the C=C bending vibrations of alkene group in 2VP functional monomer and EGDMA cross‐linker.…”

“…In addition, an intense peak at 1550 cm −1 can be observed in spectrum D (experiment performed only with zeolite), while for spectra B and C (samples of bacteria supported on zeolite), only a weak signal is observed in this region. This peak can be attributed to the N-H bending of primary amine present in atrazine molecules[68]. These observations may be an indication that atrazine can be degraded by the bacterial biofilm, which explains that the peak at 1550 cm −1 has a lower signal in comparison to that observed for the zeolite without bacterial biofilm.…”
