Characterization of 7-Methylguanosine Identified Biochemical Recurrence and Tumor Immune Microenvironment in Prostate Cancer

Abstract: Prostate cancer (PCa) has a high incidence rate, mortality rate, and biochemical recurrence (BCR) rate. 7-Methylguanosine (m7G), as one of the RNA modifications, has been considered to be actively involved in cancer-related translation disorders in recent years. Therefore, we first used The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database to identify prognosis and m7G-related long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs). Then we randomly divided the samples into the training set and test set and then constructed and verified the m7G lnR… Show more

“…They also identified that the m7G-related signature could predict the prognosis of prostate cancer. Similarly, Liu et al [ 20 ] also identified the prognostic value of m7G-related lncRNAs in prostate cancer. Moreover, three studies demonstrated the prognostic value of m7G-related mRNAs, lncRNAs, and miRNAs in clear cell renal cell carcinoma [ 16 18 ].…”

“…Furthermore, in the field of urological tumors, three studies demonstrated the prognostic value of m7G-related mRNAs, lncRNAs and miRNAs in clear cell renal cell carcinoma [ 16 18 ]. Meanwhile, M7G-related genes could influence the immune infiltration of prostate cancer [ 19 , 20 ]. However, a few studies have discussed the correlation between m7G and BC through single m7G-related gene and review [ 13 , 21 ].…”

“…In recent years, m 7 G has been thought to be actively implicated in cancer-related translation problems. The m 7 G-score has been shown to be an independent measure of BCR-free survival in patients with PCa ( Xin et al, 2022 ). Additionally, recent research has shown that RNA modification regulators may serve as biomarkers for cancer diagnosis and prognosis surveillance ( Haruehanroengra et al, 2020 ).…”
