In this research, the effects of water-soluble glucoamylase at four concentrations of 2.79, 5.58, 13.95, and 27.9 wt % on CO2 hydrate formation phase equilibrium have been investigated. Traditional isochoric method was employed in 300 mL autoclave to provide these phase equilibrium data. The results are also compared with the hydrate formation in pure water and tetra-n-butyl ammonium bromide (TBAB) solution. The concentration of glucoamylase for CO2 hydrate formation has optimum value. When the concentration of glucoamylase was 5.58 wt %, it has positive effect on lowering CO2 hydrate formation requirements. Compared with TBAB, the promotion effect of glucoamylase is a little bit milder. When the concentrations of glucoamylase were 27.9 and 13.95 wt %, the glucoamylase has inhibiting effect on hydrate formation. Compared with methanol, the inhibiting effect of glucoamylase system is a little bit milder.

A microbiota vaginal desempenha um papel de extrema relevância na saúde da mulher, podendo dificultar determinadas infecções. O grupo responsável majoritariamente por essa proteção são os Lactobacillus spp e algumas bactérias aeróbicas obrigatórias, como: Atopobium, Gardnerella e Prevotella spp. Microbiota pode ter a sua composição alterada dependendo do estágio de vida em que o indivíduo se encontra, como: pre-menarca, menarca, fase reprodutiva, gravidez e a menopausa. Tais alterações podem descaracterizar a composição desses Lactobacillus causando um processo de disbiose. Os Lactobacillus são responsáveis pela síntese de ácido láctico que produz um caráter de acidez no ambiente, além disso são encarregados pela produção de H2O2 que contém propriedade antisséptica, criando assim uma barreira contra agentes patogênicos como:vaginite bacteriana, candidíase vulvovaginal, vaginite aeróbica. O objetivo dessa dissertação foi compreender a composição da microbiota, entender o seu funcionamento no canal vaginal e sua relação com a saúde da mulher, tendo o seu enfoque na proteção contra patógenos.

Amylopullulanases are endoacting bifunctional enzymes capable of hydrolyzing α-1,4- and α-1,6-glycosidic linkages in starch, amylose, pullulan, amylopectin and related oligosaccharides. These enzymes possess single or dual active site(s) for cleaving α-1,4- and α-1,6-glycosidic bonds; the former are called amylopullulanases, and the latter, α-amylase-pullulanases. These are grouped into GH13 and GH57 families based on the architecture of the catalytic domain and the number of conserved sequence regions. The amylopullulanases/α-amylasepullulanases are produced by bacteria as well as archaea, and among them, thermophilic and hyperthermophilic species are the major producers. The thermostable amylopullulanases find application in one-step starch liquefaction-saccharification to form various sugar syrups and maltooligosaccharides. The starch saccharification process catalysed by amylopullulanases minimizes the use of other amylolytic enzymes, like α-amylase and glucoamylase, thereby reducing the cost of sugar syrups. The enzymes also find applications in bread making as an anti-stale and as a detergent additive.
